Everest Base Camp Expedition

A test of physical and mental endurance...a truly amzaing experience...

CHR formed an all girls team to embark on an expedition to Everest Base Camp in support of the Singapore Women's Everest Team (SWET). Our team is made up of 6 girls (Cherry - Sec 3/7, Cheryl - Sec 3/1, Priscilla - Sec 3/4, Wen Ting - Sec 4/4, Xin Fang - Sec 4/1 and Noriyuki - Sec 4/6) and 3 teachers (Ms Puah MK, Ms Tay HL and Mrs Ang LH). Day 1 & 2 - S'pore to Kathmandu, Nepal
Day 3 - Domestic Flight to Lukla (2800m) and trek to Phakding (2600m)
Day 4 - Trek to Namche Bazaar (3446m)
Day 5 - Acclimatization climb at Namche
Day 6 - Trek to Tengboche (3870m)
Day 7 - Trek to Pangboche
Day 8 - Trek to Pheriche (4400m)
Day 9 - Acclimatization day at Pheriche
Day 10 - Trek to Lobuche (4880m)
Day 11 - Trek to Gorak Shep (5150m)
Day 12 - Trek to Everest Base Camp (5400m)
Day 13 to 18 - Trek down and end-of-trip celebration with the guides and porters & Home Sweet Home
